Casselton has a fresh face leading its new Valley Senior Services Meals Program, and her name is Jasmin Wolfe. A 28-year-old with a passion for connecting with people, Jasmin recently moved to the area from Manitoba, Canada. She’s no stranger to small-town life, but as she settles into her new home, she’s already feeling the warmth and kindness of the community.
Before coming to Casselton, Jasmin spent years working with seniors, forming genuine connections that filled her heart. "There’s so much wisdom and life experience to learn from if you take a moment to listen," she says. Her experience made stepping into the role of Senior Meals Coordinator a natural fit.
Jasmin is bringing her love of community, kindness, and a hearty dose of laughter to the program. She’s excited to provide a space where seniors can gather, enjoy great food, and build meaningful connections.
“It’s been so rewarding to see people coming together—some reconnecting, others meeting for the first time. Eating and laughing is something we all love, and being part of this program has been good for my heart,” Jasmin shares. Jasmin is an employee of Valley Senior Services, which is the provider of the meal service.
Outside of her role, Jasmin is an esthetician at Wild Soul Salon in Casselton. She says she loves making people feel good, whether it’s through a relaxing spa treatment or serving a warm meal. Her enthusiasm and dedication are sure to make Casselton’s seniors feel welcome and cared for.
