Parking Info

We are going to have everyone park on the east side of the facility, on the east side of the railroad tracks.  There is an open spot to the south of the fertilizer plant.   We have a wagon that we can have everyone get on to take a tour around the agronomy side and then if there is not a train on the tracks, we can see the elevator side from there as well.  It would be best to take Heartland Ave, in case a train is parked on the tracks.

More about Maple River Grain & Agronomy

Back in 2004, Maple River Grain & Agronomy LLC was born from the merger of three elevator companies: Farmer’s Cooperative Elevator Company of Prosper, AGP Grain of Casselton, and Chaffee-Lynchburg Farmer’s Elevator. But the evolution didn't stop there. Fast forward to 2018, and the Chaffee-Lynchburg and Prosper Farmers Co-op Elevator decided to join forces and create the Maple River Co-op, which now owns the majority of Maple River Grain & Agronomy LLC.

This move wasn't just about changing ownership structures; it was about making things easier and more transparent for everyone involved. With a streamlined board of directors and updated company by-laws, the co-op was able to better serve its member-owners, who are primarily local farmers.

One of the things that makes the cooperative system so unique is that members both buy inputs for their farms and sell their grain through the co-op. This means that when profits are generated, a portion of them is returned to the member-owners in the form of patronage.

Through it all, Maple River Grain & Agronomy LLC has remained committed to its original mission, which was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors back in 2004. This mission is still the guiding principle today, and it centers around serving the needs of our member-owners and the local community.
